Я перебирал свою коллекцию музыкальных дисков. И вспомнил, как у меня вызвал недоумение CDA формат, когда я попытался впервые скопировать песни на компьютер и затем воспроизвести их уже без компакта.

Те, кто тоже так делал, знают, что ничего не выйдет. Несмотря на то, что сейчас мы слушаем, в основном, MP3. Всё равно у кого-то может возникнуть подобная ситуация.

Поэтому мне пришла мысль написать об этом расширении и объяснить, почему так происходит и как с этим бороться.

Расшифровка

CDA - это аббревиатура, собранная из слов Compact Disk Audio. И без перевода понятно, где применяется данный формат.

Он является одним и самых древних, однако используется до сих пор. Потому что это самый простой и качественный вариант записи цифровых данных. Они сохраняются в несжатом виде, поэтому подлежат воспроизведению при фиксированной скорости вращения диска.

Почему не играет музыка без диска?

Чтобы прослушать песни, подойдёт любой плеер для CD, в том числе и компьютерный привод. Однако если вы захотите скопировать обычным способом музыку на комп и послушать, вытащив компакт, вас ждёт разочарование. Почему?

Перенесённые вами файлы создаются автоматически операционной системой в процессе воспроизведения с диска. Они являются только ссылками. Которые указывают на расположение той или иной песни на компакте, но сам звук в себе не содержат. На это намекает и их размер, исчисляемый в килобайтах. По сути, это всего лишь ярлыки с информацией о том, где начинается и заканчивается определённая дорожка.

Как копировать CD?

Если вы собираетесь слушать аудио на компьютере непосредственно с диска, то подойдёт любая программа для воспроизведения медиафайлов: Winamp, VLC, AIMP и т. п. Но если вы захотите перенести содержимое на винчестер и потом слушать уже с него, то Ctrl + C и Ctrl + V здесь не прокатит.
